Obituary of Patricia Ann Edmunds

Patricia Ann Edmunds Westtown, NY Patricia Ann Edmunds passed away peacefully on April 3, 2016 after her short battle with cancer at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 59. The daughter of Albert R. Payne and Mary Jane Barry Payne, she was born on May 2, 1956 in Limestone Maine. Patricia spent the last 16 years working as a house supervisor at Crystal Run Village. A family statement reads” Patty was a fun loving caring individual who cared for others and enjoyed the simpler things in life, watching her favorite TV shows at home, spending quality time with her family and friends and taking road trips with her fiancé. Survivors include her two loving sons, Michael Payne and his wife Erin of Pine Bush, and Ryan Edmunds and his wife Kelly of Pine Bush, granddaughter Brianna Edmunds; her fiancé Sam Pruiksma of Westtown, her ex husband Peter Edmunds of Pine Bush, parents Albert and Mary Jane Payne of Pine Bush, her brother Michael Payne and his wife Maryanne of Delaware, sister Mary Chessari, and her husband Tony of Barryville, younger brother, Matthew Payne of Pine Bush, many nieces nephews and cousins, her furry companion Bootsie, 1 great niece Gracie, and Aunt Pat Poloway. Patricia is predeceased by her older brother, Mark Payne and niece Sarah Payne. Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 6, 2016 from 5-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush, NY 12566. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday April 7, 2016 at 9:30am at the Church of the Infant Saviour with Fr. Rodrigo officiating. Burial will take place at Wallkill Cemetery in Middletown. The family would like to thank the amazing staff at ORMC for the care they gave to Patricia during her battle with cancer and keeping her spirits high during her stay.
