Obituary of Ruth H. Ritz

Ruth H. Ritz Westtown, NY Our beloved Oma, Ruth Hulde Ritz entered into peaceful rest on January 16, 2017. Ruth, formerly of Rockland County, lived in Westtown, NY. Ruth was born on August 27, 1936 in Germany and came to the United States in 1959 where she met her husband Alfons Ritz. Ruth and Alfons celebrated their 80th birthdays together this past summer and 56 years of marriage. She was a housewife, Mother and beloved Oma to all that knew her. Ruth is survived by her husband Alfons of Westtown, NY her son Alfons Jr. and his wife Lelys of Middletown, NY and daughter Diana and her husband Larry Zaleski of Goshen, NY. Ruth has three granddaughters, Kristina, Danielle and Hannah and 1 great-granddaughter Aaliyah. Ruth's brother, Hermann Ehmer and his family reside in Germany. A Funeral Service will be held in the Old Stone Church in Upper Saddle River, NJ on February 11th at 11am followed by a luncheon in the adjoining Educational Center where Ruth was a member since 1974.
