Obituary of David J. Beninson

David J. Beninson Bullville, NY David J. Beninson, (DJ) a Trucking Escort for Marge’s Escort Service in Port Jervis passed away on Monday January 30, 2017 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. He was 92. The son of the late Albert Beninson and Ida Krakow Beninson he was born on March 22, 1924 in Danbury CT. A Veteran of WWII, David served his country in the US Navy. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Helen at home, sons; Wayne Beninson and wife Carol of Florida, Terry Beninson and wife Liz of CT, Marvin Beninson and wife Laurie of CT, daughter; Cheryl Glover and husband Bobby of Florida, step children; Tommy Sturgis of Florida, James Sturgis and his wife Julieann of Bullville, Calvin Sturgis and wife Michelle of Las Vegas, and Nancy Sturgis and her fiancé Peter Ianniello. DJ is also survived by his sister, Rosalyn Schoonmaker as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 1, 2017 from 10am-12pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush. Funeral services will be offered at 12pm at the funeral home. Burial with Full Military Honors will take place in the Orange County Veterans Cemetery in Goshen.
