We met Peggy and Lou at a summer picnic a few years ago. I remember sitting there talking to Lou for a long time. I also know that my wife Pat made sausage and peppers for the picnic. Everyone in our family loves hot sausage. She also made sweet sausage in a separate pan with peppers. Nobody marked the pans hot or sweet and we found out later that Peggy didn't have any sausage and peppers because she didn't know there was sweet sausage in a separate pan. We felt bad about that but there was nothing that we could do. We were hoping that there might be another summer picnic the following year where we could correct the situation but it never happened. Peggy was a wonderful person. We are so sorry that she is gone. Prayers to the rest of her family and may she rest in peace. Love, Pat and Rich DeGroat

Our memories of Peggy is her smiling face and conversation each time we walked into the Ellenville National Bank years ago when it was open in Pine Bush. We loved seeing Peggy at OCFS too! She was a fan of Ken’s back in the late 80’s and a fan of my son Tyler. Peggy was such a sweet woman, it was always a pleasure to run into her - we’d share conversation and a smile. Rest In Eternal Peace Peggy.
