Im so sorry to hear of the passing of Millie. We lived across the way 26 years ago, my Kids visited her frequently as with all the neighbors and she was always so kind especially with her offered cookies. We would visit when taking walks and petting her little dog. I remember her telling of the many gift packages to her Grandson in College of his favorite cookies! Millie was truly an inspiration as a wonderful Wife, Mother, grandmother and friend. I felt blessed to have known her. Millie was our “go to. Person” at school. If there was something you needed or questioned what to do or who to go to - Millie had the answers. You could always count on Millie to point you in the right direction. She was known for her delicious homemade treats too. I tried for years to get her Irish Soda Bread recipe and then one Christmas she sent it to me! I’m sure she’s in heaven baking away and giving out answers to all who seek them.
