Regina Fitzgerald Obituary

Regina C. Fitzgerald, a retired sales associate for Omega Engineering in Stanford, Conn. and six-year area resident, formerly of Connecticut, died July 26, 2006 at home peacefully in her sleep. She was 78. The daughter of John Kelly and Mae Allen Kelly, she was born September 11, 1927 in Brooklyn. She was the widow of Raymond Fitzgerald. Survivors include her three daughters, Valerie Fitzgerald-Konz and husband Jack of Cheshire, Conn., Regina Robert and husband Larry of Connecticut, Susan Fitzgerald and Annisteen Robinson of Pine Bush; one son, Raymond Fitzgerald and wife Jackie of Glendale, Ariz.; one brother, Jack Kelly of Florida; one sister, May Birmingham of Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers and one sister. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2006 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush. Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. at the Chapel the Holy Name "The Stone Church" in Cragsmoor with the Rev. Robert B. Hewitt officiating. Cremation will be at Cedar Hill Crematory in Newburgh. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
