Gary D. Cloutier

Gary D. Cloutier, a longtime Hudson Valley resident, passed away on Saturday, November 4th, 2023 at Westchester Medical Center. He was 77. The eldest son of Albert and Loretta Cloutier, he was born on April 14th, 1946 in New London, Connecticut.

Since childhood, Gary was an avid baseball fan. He also appreciated cruise vacations, working outdoors, jazz music and frequenting the race track. He was an Air Force veteran and afterwards became a dedicated New York State Corrections officer, where he met some of his best friends.

Gary was predeceased by his wife, Elaine M. Taylor in early 2021. He is survived by his son Patrick Cloutier, and his two daughters Michelle Cloutier and LaRue O’Donnell, as well as many wonderful grandchildren.
