Mildred F. McKaig, a secretary in the Pine Bush School District for many years, and life long resident of the area, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024 at the age of 94. The daughter of the late Alden Traphagen and Margaret Hadden Traphagen, she was born on September 30, 1930 in Walden, NY. Mildred was active in Walden Seniors and was honored to serve as president for several years. She was an amazing baker and enjoyed sharing her treats. Mildred is survived by her daughter Lynne Caputo, her grandson Matthew Caputo and his loving wife Sarah, her great grandchildren, Abigail and Peter, and her grandson Jeffery Caputo.
