Ronald G. Landon Sr.

Ronald George Landon Sr., a resident of Pine Bush, New York, passed away at the age of 84 on January 7th, 2025.

Ronald was born in Brooklyn on June 14, 1940, living there for many years before moving to Pine Bush where he lived for 40 years. He held many jobs before settling into a more than four decade career on the waterfront, first as a Longshoreman and then as a Checker. A love of travel brought Ronald and Kathy to many corners of the world. They toured Europe and Australia, the Caribbean and Mexico, took cruises and train trips and made the most of every trip, usually sharing these adventures with family and friends. Anyone lucky enough to travel with Ronald was guaranteed a great time and funny stories to share for years to come.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Kathleen, his children Ronald II (Audrey), Kim (Steve) Osonitsch, Roy (Laura) Landon, Bruce (Evelyn) Landon, Lawrence II (Elizabeth) Landon, and Michael (Maria) Landon and grandchildren Ronald III, Lawrence III, Giorgianna, Kelly and Michael II , as well as siblings Patricia Lee and Barbara Kenniff, many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Ronald is predeceased by his parents Alfred and Veronica and his brother Lawrence.

Ronald was a strong, humorous man who always helped others and will be missed by all that were blessed to know him.

Visitation will be held on Sunday January 12th from 3:00-7:00pm at William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush NY. Funeral mass will be offered on Monday January 13th at 10:00am at Infant Savior Church 22 Holland Ave Pine Bush, New York.
