Barbara M. Burger

Barbara M. Burger, born and raised in Pine Bush, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025. She was 76. The daughter of the late Frank M. Burger Jr. and Evelyn M. (Cameron) Burger, she was born on September 14, 1948 in Newburgh NY.

Barbara was a proud 1966 graduate of Pine Bush High School and attended SUNY New Paltz for a short time. She left there to start a family. Barbara became a proud working mother of three children during her lifetime. She could sew your ripped pants and also repair your bikes tire. Taught us all how to Learn, Laugh, Love, and most importantly to Respect.

Barbara was a lifelong member of the Woman’s Auxiliary for the

G. Paul Bettinger Post # 1308. She loved to read and play in the dirt in her Gardens. She was always enthusiastic with the things that her children and her grandchildren were doing.

The family is finding peace in knowing that she has returned to the arms and paws of loved ones.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Kristie and her husband John David Madura, son, Kevin Pulver, son, David Hall and his wife Stacey Mabie Hall, grandchildren, Joshua, Alissa, David John Madura Abigal, Aubrey Pulver, Kaila, Jenna Prush. Visitation will take place on Friday March 28, 2025 from 4-7pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. Services and burial will be private.
