Carmelo Luigi Guarracino

Carmelo Luigi Guarracino, a Retired Teacher for Hunter College High School in NYC, and 3 year resident of the area, passed away on Sunday April 27, 2025 at his home. He was 76. The son of the late John Guarracino and Louise Fusco Guarracino, he was born on July 16, 1948 in New York City. Carmelo loved the NY Yankees, the NY Giants and most of all, sweets. He was proud of his children, and his grandchildren as well as Keith, Christina, Artie, and Lori. Carmelo loved and adored his wife Maria, with all the care she showed him throughout their lives together. He was a Saint. Visitation will be held on Friday May 2, 2025 from 2-5pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush, NY. Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday May 3, 2025 at 10am at the Church of the Infant Saviour, 22 Holland Ave Pine Bush, NY 12566.
