Ellen T. Galiano Mount Hope, NY August 14, 1959 - August 15, 2013 Ellen T. Galiano of Mount Hope, NY passed away peacefully on Thursday August 15, 2013 at the Valley View Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Goshen, surrounded by her loving family. She was 54 years old. The daughter of Emma Yautz Murray and the late Francis Messina, Ellen was born on August 14, 1959 in Jersey City, NJ. Ellen worked as a Home Health Aide for Elant Community Health Services in Goshen. Survivors include her beloved husband Joseph, at home, daughter Dana Galiano and her fiancé Michael Maher of New Paltz, NY, son Tony Galiano of Middletown, NY, mother, Emma Murray of Hackettstown, NJ, sisters Deborah Messina of Hackettstown, NJ and Lori Messina of West Milford, NJ, brother Frank Messina and his wife Michelle of Norwood, NJ as well as several nieces and nephews. A family statement reads: Ellen touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Visitation will be held on Sunday August 18, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00PM at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc, 1525 Burlingham Road, Pine Bush, NY 12566. A funeral service will be held at 4:00PM at the funeral home with Father Kevin Gallagher officiating. Cremation will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations in Ellen's name may be made to The Elant Foundation, 46 Harriman Drive, Goshen, NY 10924.
