Wayne Thomas Wild Sr (pop) 58, of Pine Bush passed away on Sunday July 27th at the Hudson Valley Hospice House in Hyde Park. With his loving companion and his daughters by his side.

Wayne was born on February 7th, 1967 in Goshen to Raymond and Florence (Cornish) Wild. Wayne grew up on his family’s dairy farm. That’s where his love for all animals came from, especially his beloved dogs Steel and Princess.

Wayne had an infectious smile and he always tried to make everyone smile and laugh.

Wayne worked as a horse breeder, and a logger. But the job he loved the most was working for his 2nd family Mark and Lacey Cooper. Driving his dump truck for Orange County Paving for over 20 years

Wayne loved to fish and cook. He loved to show off his cooking to his sister Debbie. He also loved to show off pictures of flowers he found with his sister. However Wayne ‘s true passion was playing his guitar’s. He enjoyed recording videos of himself playing his guitars on YouTube for everyone to enjoy.

Wayne is survived by his loving companion of 16 years, Hope Day of Pine Bush. His children Cheyanne Wild of Kerhonkson, Breighanne Wylong and her husband Bryan of Poughkeepsie, and his son Wayne Wild Jr of Kerhonkson. His sister Deborah Weeden of Montgomery. His grandson Brayden Joel Wylong and many nieces and nephews

Wayne was predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Florence Wild. His big brother’s Arthur (Artie) Wild, Thomas (Tommy) Wild, Raymond (Bummer) Wild and his brother in-law Lawerence Weeden

A memorial service will be held from 2-5pm Saturday August 2nd 2025 at William Gagan Funeral Home at 1525 Burlingham Road, Pine Bush NY. Reverend Elisha Cooper of the Amazing Grace Fellowship officiating.
