Shirley J. Kynard of Bloomingburg, NY passed away January 10, 2026 in Goshen, NY. She was 88 years old. Shirley was the daughter of the late Leland and Bertha Beach. She was born on January 9, 1938, in Cornwall, NY.

Shirley is survived by her 6 Children, Glenda Russell of Bloomingburg, Susan Rutkowski Day and her husband Sean of Winter Haven Fl, Deanna Ward and her husband Victor of Montaque NJ, Charlene Hintze and her fiancé Michael Tadry of Middletown, NY, Cheryl Piche and her husband Bill Stelz of Montgomery NY and her son Charles Kynard Jr and his wife AnnMarie of Chesapeake VA, her 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

 Shirley was predeceased by her husband Charles Kynard Sr, her grandson William C Russell, her brothers Frank and Robert Beach and her sister Gladys Koehler.

Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family & friends, playing card games, doing puzzles and enjoying her beer.

 “Our mom was one of the strongest women we knew, she faced some challenges through her life and battled through them all, at the end she fought with all she had until her angels came to take her home. “She may have been small, but she was mighty” We love you mom.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Ronnie & Ashley Palmer, we can’t thank you enough for helping to take care of her when she needed assistance. She enjoyed your visits, and you helped us tremendously.

Jeff Piche- we can’t thank you enough for just being there! You went above and beyond. Your visits meant the world to her, as she said, “I love my Jeff”.  We are forever grateful for the bond you had with her.

 The family will have a small graveside service. She will be buried in the Bloomingburg Cemetery.
