Joseph David Cobb of Pine Bush NY passed away unexpectedly on March 27th, 2026 at home. He was 56 years old. The son of John Michael Cobb Sr. and Barbara Ann Davis, Kester, he was born on April 5th, 1969  in Poughkeepsie, NY. He grew up in Fishkill NY and graduated from John Jay High School. 

Joe was a lifelong cook and had a passion for his work and customers he served. He was working most recently for Rino’s Eatery in Pine Push NY and prior to that at Terris Market in Kingston NY. He was an avid softball player throughout the Hudson Valley and played on numerous teams over the years. He was also a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Mets and Boston Celtics fan.

He is survived by his sister June Hundley and her wife Kelly Kolvenbach of Pine Bush NY, his sister Jeanette Komar of Modesto California, his brother John M. Cobb Jr. of East Fishkill NY, his stepbrothers Patrick Kester, Grant Kester and Kris Kester all of Bath NY. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces, along with numerous friends. 

He was predeceased by his paternal and maternal Grandparents, his Mother and Father, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. He was also predeceased by his loving dog Lucy. 

The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life for Joe on April 19th at the Mamakating Town Park Pavilion, 27-29 Mamakating Rd. Bloomingburg, NY starting at 1pm.
