I'm so sorry I only just recently found out about Connie's passing! We were close in high school sharing tables at the library and lunch. In recent years we were able to reconnect thru Facebook. What stood out was her deep love for her son and her family. My deepest condolences

Connie is missed so very much. The last Dinner we had together was in 2023. This photo is at the end of the evening with our Host that night, our great friend Rosi. When I say "our great friend", it means that someone else is as heartbroken as I am. I met Rosi 32 years ago and once you became my close friend, well you would have eventually met Connie. But Connie and Rosi didn't just become great friends, they became Moms around the same time. My Sons were already grown up by then and while I was off on some Rock-n-Roll adventure, they were sharing a friendship, bound even further by Motherhood.
This was a last minute dinner and right before Connie left to go home from a week of fun in the sun. I am grateful we made it happen because we all seem to get busy and say well, I'll see you next trip. Make plans, see your friends. Life is vey short.
The other photo of me and Connie with the Friends/Family saying was made by you guessed it, Connie. I have so many personalized gifts from her. She always handed her camera to someone to capture the two of us every visit. We were waiting for Rosi to join us and boy am I glad she did. Best dinner ever!

Connie, Mom will miss you dearly. She considers you a daughter. I will miss your updates and phone calls. Your laugh is something I will always cherish and be able to hear when I think of you. Thankful you got to spend time with my sister Ruby as you meant the world to her. Rest in peace dear Connie.
Love,
Pam and Charlotte

Connie loved cards, plaques and posters with sayings, she loved the Hallmark Crown store. In 1980 we spent the Summer at my home in Plattsburgh, NY. Went went to see Van Halen after a long day in Montreal'. Spent our days on Lake Champlain. I received this in the mail after she got home. I don't know the origin, but I know it took some time for her to type it on a typewriter.

I started Contel 2 weeks before Connie and we were friends from the start. Sharing cubicles, sharing the Friday 5:05’s, sharing supervisors, sharing trips to Johnstown, and sharing stories. I loved her- her laugh, her kindness, her eyesight and the fact that I could always ask her what date something happened and I loved when she brought Cody in for visits. She will be so very missed as part of our work family.

Connie was an important part of my career at Frontier. She was one of the first people I sat with to Train with. She was close friends with My sister Lisa and always attended our family events when her son was younger. I am truly sad to say that I am going to miss her so much and hope her and those who have gone before us are reunited in heaven. May she sleep in peace.

Blessed to have you as my Aunt Connie by proxy of my bio Aunt Ruby. You made me feel seen and loved, also never knew what we would do hanging out. Something spontaneous and outdoors for sure. You will live forever in my heart and will hear your voice upon the winds. Love forever Auntie

Constance, Connie, Connie Calendar, Aunt Connie, Baby Gabel and most recently Con Con,
50 years and 24 days. That is all we get. You picked me to be your Best Friend on March 13, 1976, the next day was your Birthday. Years later, I hear you tell people I was your Birthday Present. I do not get to hear that anymore. The plans we had next, I will still do them, just going to do them without your physical presence. I will always take you with me, you will never leave my heart.
Looking back at our thousands of photos, the videos we thankfully made, and the hundreds of trips we shared, I am truly grateful for everything we have experienced together.
I thought I was tough until I watched you fight this Monster; I got nothing on you kid. Nothing.
Danita, Lyns, Brandi, Teresa, Ben, Cody we did everything we could, and she knew how much she meant to us, she was loved beyond measure. She was so kind, funny, loving and that laugh, man am I going to miss that laugh. I will also miss her funny sayings, "that's about as funny as a crutch", "a real Knee Slapper" and her crooked smile she always pointed out with the pose to follow. Her attempts at sarcasm but she was too sweet to pull it off. The clicking noise she made that sounded like a trotting horse. Snoopy everything. The greeting cards with the envelopes covered in stickers that had better have arrived on time or I would surely get the call about "the Post Office". The hours of her showing me pictures of Cody and her nieces & nephews and their kids. Sharing updates each visit or phone call. Ben, how lucky you were to have had those twenty-two plus years together. She loved you and you made a beautiful home together. You gave her the one thing she never thought she would have, her precious Cody, the sweetest boy ever. Cody, you were everything to her, she was so proud of you. You made her so happy.
Danita, everyone could only wish to have a sister like you, a great friend like no other. I pray you find some Peace, and the good news starts to outweigh the bad.
Jeffrey, my dearest friend, thanks for being there to comfort her and hold me up.
To Connie's other family members, friends and co-workers, I know she fought this privately because in her mind, she was going to get better, go home, go back to work, then retire in a couple of years and watch those nieces, nephews and her son grow up, attend more weddings, baby showers, family events, have fun with friends and travel more.
Love you to the Moon and back and all those other Planets, Ruby
