Judith (JuJu) A. Baxter crossed over into the arms of her savior on June 23, 2026 at the age of 84 while surrounded by her loving family. JuJu was happiest surrounded by the love and laughter of her family.

JuJu was born on September 15, 1941 in Patterson, New Jersey to Catherine and Jack DuBrow. JuJu proudly grew up in a large Italian family with her aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents running Caruso’s Bakery. She married R. Dale Baxter, her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, in August, 1961 and began growing their family. The family moved to Circleville in 1973 and lived there until their retirement to Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. In retirement, JuJu proudly served on the board of her homeowners association, co-chaired the annual white elephant sale, which benefited women’s shelters, and made numerous close friendships. They returned to the same home in Circleville ten years ago to live with family after Dale fell ill and eventually passed.

Surviving family includes her eldest daughter, Cathy (Dave) Cole, her youngest daughter, Joanne (Larry) Waterman, and son-in-law John Huntoon. She is predeceased by her middle daughter, Lynne Huntoon. JuJu was blessed with six grandchildren, Kara (Steven) Spears, Robert (Trish) Skinner, Kaitlyn (Julie) Waterman, Jaidyn, Leah, and Liam Waterman; and five great-grandchildren, Avery and Hunter Spears, and Robbie, Olivia, and Joseph Skinner. She is survived by her sister, Joanne Stone, and predeceased by her brother, John (Chippy) DuBrow.

A catholic mass will be celebrated on July 2, 2026 at 10AM at Church of the Infant Savior, 22 Holland Avenue Pine Bush, New York. Memorial donations in JuJu‘s name should be made to My Brother‘s Place, A Refuge of Hope – 225 Route 23 Suite 2C, Hamburgh, NJ, 07419 – an organization that JuJu supported and cherished.
