Patricia G. Conneally

Patricia G. Conneally, a retired Executive Secretary for IBM and longtime resident of the area, passed away on Sunday July 12, 2026 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Center in Newburgh. She was 87. The daughter of the late Thomas J. Bluight and Nora Sheehy Bluight, she was born on March 6, 1939 in Bronx, NY.  Patricia married her husband John and the moved to Glendale, NY to raise a family. They retired to Fort Myers, FL and had many wonderful years living in Pine Ridge. Ten years ago, they became residents of Pine Bush to live closer to their family. Patricia, also known as “Patsy” loved watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune every night, playing bingo, and playing card games. She also enjoyed attending tricky trays. Patsy loved her Irish music along with reading and completing word searches. Survivors include her daughter,  Catherine Brunetti of Pine Bush, son in law, Edward Stackpole of Pine Bush, 5 grandchildren, Melissa Iudici and her husband Michael, Edward Stackpole and his wife Hanna, Meghan Cronin and her husband Justin, Lauren Nemeth and her husband Stefan, and Joseph Brunetti, 9 great grandchildren, Michael, Kerianne, Emersyn, Jasper, Justin, Emmitt, Maeve, Claire, and Rori, brother, Thomas Bluight and his wife Susan.

Patricia is further survived by many nieces and nephews and is predeceased by her husband, John Conneally, daughter, Patricia Stackpole, brother, Jimmy Bluight, sisters, Mary Smyth, Helen Cumiskey, and Nora McGrath. Visitation will be held on Thursday July 16, 2026 from 6-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush NY.  Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday July 17, 2026 at 10am at the Church of the Infant Saviour, 22 Holland Ave Pine Bush NY.  Burial will take place at New Prospect Cemetery.
