Aldo Galazzo, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to his family. 


Born on July 14, 1927, in New York, Aldo spent part of his early childhood in Italy before returning to New York, where he was raised. He proudly served his country in the US Army, a reflection of the dedication, honor, and sense of duty that defined his life.


Aldo found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved spending time in his garden, where he could often be found tending to his tomatoes and parsley with pride and care. He also had a special affection for dogs throughout his life. Above all, he treasured his family and the time they spent together. His quiet strength, kind heart, and unwavering love will be remembered by all who knew him.


Aldo’s life was a testament to hard work, resilience, and the importance of family. His love, wisdom, and gentle spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration to his family and friends.


Aldo is survived by his loving daughter, Angela Restivo, and his son-in-law, Joseph Restivo. He also leaves behind his devoted grandchildren, Joslyn Walling, Anthony Galazzo, and Andrew Galazzo, and his treasured great-grandchildren, Blair Walling and Gabriel Walling, who brought him immense pride and happiness.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Antoinette Galazzo, and his cherished son, Carlo Galazzo.  


Visitation will be held on Saturday August 8, 2026 from 10am-12pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd. Pine Bush, NY. Funeral services will be offered at 12pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place at New Prospect Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the William M.
