George W. Hopper Jr.
Middletown, NY
George W. Hopper Jr. Master Auto Mechanic and longtime
resident of the area passed away on Sunday October 27, 2013 at his
home surrounded by his family. He was 70. The son of the late
George W. Hopper Sr. and Wilma Schnitger Hopper, he was born on
December 14, 1942 in Suffern, NY. Survivors include his wife of 49
years, Jean at home; children; Jim Hopper and his wife Vicki of
Rome, NY; Teri Fiedler and her husband Chris of Middletown, and
Bill Hopper and his wife Kimberly of Wallkill, grandchildren;
Kimberly, Brandon, Kayla, Kyle, Sara, and Alex, brother; Peter
Hopper and his wife Kathy of West Virginia, niece; Dana Harris.
There will be no visitation. Cremation was private and at the
convenience of the family. A memorial service will be held at a
later date. Donations can be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan
Counties 800 Stony Brook Ct. Newburgh, NY 12550. Arrangements
