Obituary of Bernard Ellsworth Jutz

Bernard Ellsworth Jutz of Pine Bush, a retired Field Service Technician for IBM, and longtime resident of the area, died Wednesday January 26, 2005, at home. He was 78. The son of Bernhard Jutz and Theresa Maurer Jutz, he was born May 9, 1926 in Utica, N.Y. He was a Veteran serving as a jet pilot for eight years in the United States Air Force. He also served two years in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by three sons: Roger A. Jutz of Portsmouth, N.H., Douglas A. Jutz of Pine Bush, and William A. Jutz and his wife, Sherri, of New Bern, N.C.; three grandchildren: Anthony, Kenneth and Julian; Patricia Prohach of Pine Bush; one cousin Albert J. Dyczek; and his godson, Robert A. Dyczek. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Monday January 31, 2005 in William M. Gagan Funeral Home, Inc., 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at 10:00 AM in Church of the Infant Saviour, Pine Bush, N.Y., with Fr. William Damroth officiating. Burial will be in the family plot in New Prospect Cemetery, Pine Bush, N.Y.
