Marion Kempf of Newburgh, a homemaker and 40-year resident of the area, died October 8, 2004 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 70. The daughter of Helen Cohn Lowenthal and Albert Lowenthal, she was born June 1, 1934 in Brooklyn. She was an active member of the Mid-Hudson Christian Church. Survivors include her husband, Howard Kempf of Newburgh; sister, Annabelle Gerone of Brooklyn; daughters, Barbara H.O'Brien of North Patchogue, Beatrice A. Kempf of Middletown; and Annette K. Rice of Phoenix, Ariz; sons, Howard M. Kempf of Savannah, Ga. and Stephen A. Kempf of Phoenix, Ariz; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 10 from 1 to 4 p.m. at The William M. Gagan Funeral Home, Inc. 1525 Burlingham Road,Pine Bush NY. Funeral service will be held on October 11, 2004 at 9 a.m. at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home,Inc. Burial will be in the New Prospect Cemetery, Pine Bush. Arrangements were made by the William M.
