Pine Bush, NY
Samuel G. Napolitano, a retired Senior Executive for Macy's in New
York City and longtime resident of the area, passed away on Friday
April 25, 2014 at his home in Bronx, NY. He was 97. The son
of the late Victor Napolitano and Loretta Putao Napolitano, he was
born on April 2, 1917 in Brooklyn, NY. Samuel was a Sergeant
in the US Army during WWII, and was a member of the Church of the
Infant Saviour, avid trout fisherman, and loved deer hunting.
Survivors include his son; Samuel Jr. of West Hempstead, NY,
daughter; Donna Napolitano of Gardnerville, NV. 1 grandson; Anthony
S. Napolitano. He was predeceased by his wife; Donna Marie
Napolitano, sisters; Rose Kalber, Dorothy Zazersky, Mary Glorisio,
and Josephine Napolitano, brothers; John Napolitano, Paul
Napolitano, Severio Napolitano, Nicholas Napolitano, Joseph
Napolitano and Veto Napolitano. Visitation will be held on
Thursday May 1, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at the William M. Gagan
Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush NY. Services will be
conducted on Friday May 2, 2014 at 10am at the funeral home with
Fr. Kevin Gallagher officiating. Burial will take place in New
Prospect Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Arrangements entrusted
to the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc.
