Obituary of Antonio Tarquinio

Antonio Tarquinio Jr., a chief engineer and 48 year area resident, died Wednesday February 23, 2005, at home. He was 77.
The son of Anthony Tarquinio and Dora Gruttadavria Tarquinio, he was born October 10, 1927 in New York City.
He was a member of the American Maritime Officers.
He is survived by his wife, Valentina Pavlovna Tarquinio, at home; his sister, Rose Vanacore of Long Island; two brothers, Alfred Tarquinio and his wife, Luz, of Long Island, and John Tarquinio and his wife, Judy, of Brewster, N.Y.; one stepson, Misha Pozdnyakov; one stepdaughter, Natasha Kolbina; ten nephews: Dominick Vanacore, Anthony Vanacore, John Vanacore, Nick DiMiceli, Dominick Buonocore, Vincent Buonocore, Al Tarquinio, Mario Tarquinio, Adam Carney and Michael O'Neil; and four nieces: Gina Vanacore, Maria Tarquinio, Maria DiMiceli and Diana Hennessy.
He was predeceased by Myra Tarquinio; and four sisters: Sr. Mary Stella Tarquinio, Lucy DiMiceli, Nancy Buonocore and Dorothy Carney.
Visitation will be on Friday February 25, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush, N.Y.
A Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, February 26 at 11:00 AM in the Church of the Infant Saviour with Fr. William Damroth officiating.
Burial will be in New Prospect Cemetery.
