Kevin Roy Lager, a Master Craftsman and longtime resident of the area, went to be with the Lord. He passed away peacefully in his home early Sunday morning, July 30, 2017.  He was 70. The son of the late Morris Lager and Ruth Lassnick Lager he was born on October 15, 1946 in Newark, NJ. A Veteran, Kevin served his country in the US Army from 1964-1967.  He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. A family statement reads, “Dad loved the Lord and was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. Spending time with his family brought him great joy and peace.” Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Marcy M. Lager at home, daughter, Abigail Rivera and her husband Ruben, daughter, Naomi Catania and her husband Joseph III, son, Joseph Lager and his wife Monique. Kevin is further survived by his eight grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 2, 2017 from 6-8pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush, NY 12566.  Graveside services will be private at the family’s request.
