Charles “Buck” Dougherty of Bloomingburg, passed away unexpectedly on December 25th 2017.  He was 42.Charles was born April 7th 1975. Known to most as “Buck “a childhood nickname that would stick forever, he had a passion for all sports. The Nets, Rangers, Mets, and Redskins, are among his favorite sports teams, as well as a profound passion for stock car racing. He loved and cherished being a part of his racing crew family. Charlie was an amazing person with a big heart and an infectious laugh and smile.  He will be dearly missed and impossible to forget. Charlie is the son of the late William J Dougherty and is also predeceased by his grandparents: Charles & Genevieve Golden, William M. & Myrtle (Johnson) Dougherty. He is survived by his mom Geraldine Dougherty, his sister Eileen Delaney, his brother Bill Dougherty, his brother in-law James Delaney, and his sister-in-law Michelle Dougherty, his nephews James and Scott Delaney, his niece Katelynn Dougherty,  and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday January 6, 2018 from 2-5pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush NY 12566. Cremation was private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of one's choice in Charlie’s name. Arrangements are under the direction of William M.
