Uncle Warren, my godfather, was a presence in my life. As a child, my sister and I would spend summers with Aunt Joan and Uncle Warren. I have many special memories of those summers.
Joan and Warren had six children which meant there were lean times, but Warren worked hard and built a successful business. 3 children have remained in the area and raised their own families, continuing in the work he began as a young man. His construction company has become well regarded, and is a legacy for his children. He was a strong member of the community, serving the fire department of Walker Valley most of his life. He helped establish a community park for all to enjoy. His memory will live on through his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and the good works he left behind for all to enjoy. Rest In Peace Uncle Warren. Thank you for your service to others.

Dear Joan and family- I am shocked and saddened to hear of Warren's passing. He was such a kind and gentle man, yet staunch in his convictions. His dedication to the community and to Verkeerder Kill Park are a legacy that few achieve. I very much enjoyed working with him during my tenure on the Town Board. My love to you and your family. Sincerely, Toni Gagan

My heart is broken over the passing of my loving Uncle Warren. I have wonderful memories of our times spent with his family in Pine Bush, and these memories will live in my heart forever. Thank you, Uncle Warren, for all the times you talked me off the ledge when Dad was driving me crazy! You are all together again, grandma, grandpa, dad, mom, Greg and Aunt Gloria. Sending love and prayers to all.
Your loving niece,
Doreen
