James Joseph Gallaher, a Engineer for Zircar Ceramics in Florida, NY and longtime resident of the area, passed away on Wednesday August 1, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown.  He was 53.  The son of John Gallaher and the late Lucille Bravo Gallaher, he was born on June 22, 1965 in Bronx NY. James was a member of Cursillo, Kairos Prison Ministry, Parishioner of Church of the Infant Saviour, and Musical Director of the Church of the Infant Saviour. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Kate at home, 3 children, Kimberly Beyer and her husband Michael of Texas, Michelle Pries and her husband Daniel of Buffalo, NY and Daniel Sayre also of Buffalo NY. 5 grandchildren, Ethan, Noah, Gwendolen, Alexa, and Oliver, brother, Edward Teleky and his wife Heidi of Maryland, brother in laws, Girard and Philip Matthews, sister in law, Juliet Scala, nephews, Nicholas and Anthony Teleky. Visitation will be held on Sunday August 5, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush NY 12566. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday August 6, 2018 at 10am, at the Church of the Infant Saviour.
