Hester J. Parker, a Billing Manager for Yellow Pages in Long Island and longtime resident of the area passed away peacefully at  Montgomery Nursing Home on Wednesday September 18, 2018. She was 87. The daughter of the late Alen Parker and Florence Phaler Parker, she was born on May 2, 1931 in Long Island. Hester was a member and of The Walker Valley Seniors and is survived by her loving and caring  friends as well as her very special Chihuahua, Peanut. She will be missed by who knew and loved her. Cremation was private and held a Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
