I haven't known Willie for that long but for the time I've known him I've learned to adore him. I always messed around with him when we would play CLR. I would say don't cheat this time. We would all laugh. I will never forget Willie's McDonald's coffee order. It was a senior coffee with just milk. I'll miss having to go up and buy him his coffee and refill. I'll miss him so much. I had fun hanging out with him when I could.

Pine Bush, the high school, the fire company have lost a wonderful man. Willie was a great friend to me and to all who knew him. Always quick with a smile and quick with "How can I help you coach?". I knew him for many, many years. I do not know anytime when I do not remember him being there to get things right at the high school. He was a valuable member of the staff at the high school and especially with our athletic program. Not sure when he started at PBHS but he just seemed to be someone who belonged there. No reasonable request was denied and never a single complaint. God bless you, Willie.

Willie was a co-worker of mine since 1985. All the time that I worked with him and whenever we ran into each other wherever that was he always and I mean always had that grin and laugh. I will never forget that about him... rest easy Willie. You’ll be missed 3NyG7

Uncle Willy, thank you for always being a part of our family. You were like another dad and grandpa to our kids, Katarina, Kurt III, Kyle and Derek and son in law, Evan. For more than 22 years, Kurt II and I, my late brother Eddie, wife, Rachel and daughter, Sam, my mom, Letty, his oldest brother, Kurt I, Lois, Cheryl and our kids grew up spending time with him during every celebration and holiday together. It was always a special time with family. It will never be the same without you. We will always remember your smiling face, and always coming an hour earlier just to be the first to have a bite of my famous fried mini egg rolls. Uncle Willy loved eating the filipino dishes and desserts that I served during the holidays. Though he spent his time in and out of the hospital these past few months, he was always a fighter and never once complained about anything. We will truly miss his warm spirit.
On behalf of the Grimm family, we would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to Uncle Willy’s one true best friend, Jim who was always there by his side. We will never forget your good deeds Jim. Jim is also part of Uncle Willy’s group of friends that would frequently meet up at McDonald’s and hang out together. Much appreciation and kudos to that group for all the happy moments and memories shared with him.
Rest in peace Uncle Willy. The memories you’ve shared with the family will stay forever in our hearts. This is not goodbye, this is see you later. We love and miss you so much!
