He was the last founding member and a past commander of The Catholic War Veterans in Pine Bush, N.Y. He retired and moved to the Pine Bush area 27 years ago. Louis enjoyed Saturday evening mass at Infant Savior church. He also loved a good game of golf and being involved in all family get togethers. His favorite way to spend his time was having a beer or cup of coffee with his sons and grandsons. He was so proud of his sons and grandsons; he would brag about them to anyone that listened. He was known for his quick wit and outspoken personality that never left his family with a dull moment. Due to the current pandemic, the family has decided to hold off on services at this time; however, a celebration of life will be planned for the future. The family would like to thank everyone who reached out during this difficult time. Donations can be made in his name to the Catholic War Veterans, Post 1937, P.O. Box 1599, Pine Bush, N.Y. 12566.
