Heartfelt condolences to Donna's friends and family. I'm a nurse volunteer with a social services agency (Jewish Family Services) and have been talking to Donna weekly since the devestating loss of her beloved cat Flip. I was shocked and saddened to hear of her sudden death; she was a vibrant and unique individual who I'm sure will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She had wonderful stories about her upbringing in Minnesota, her college career at FIT, and her work in the radio/media industry. May her memory be a blessing.

My condolences and prayers go out to all those that loved Donna, especially her children Erika, Katerina (Kat) and Neil. She loved her kids and was always very proud of them. She will be missed dearly. She will always have a special place in my heart. My family and I are forever grateful for the memories we have of her that we will hold onto forever.
Donna was not only beautiful, she was also witty, very intelligent, and had a quirky sense of humor right up until the end. She loved all animals deeply and was heartbroken after recently losing her cat Flip after almost 2 decades with him. She also loved to sing and loved to listen to many kinds of “hip” music!
Donna loved to reminisce about her younger years. This often included memories she shared and had made together with her older sister Darlene whom she sadly lost in 2009. She loved and adored Darlene (my Mother) immensely, and has missed her terribly since she’s been gone.
We take great comfort in knowing that she’s reunited with her beloved sister, her cat Flip, and her sweet Daddy Nels Makie. What a beautiful day that must have been full of rejoicing and reconnected love. We Love her and miss her terribly. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with her family at this tough time.
