Obituary of Gene A. Fiorella

Gene A. Fiorella Wallkill, NY Gene A. Fiorella, a plumber with Local 371 in Staten Island, and a longtime resident of the area passed away on October 1, 2008. He was 55. The son of the late Anthony Fiorella and Helen Kosilla Fiorella, he was born on October 25, 1952 in Staten Island, New York. Gene was an umpire for the Pine Bush Little League, and football coach for PeeWee football also in Pine Bush. A family statement reads: Dad was an avid fisherman, accomplished chef and dedicated father who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his sons and his dog Bailey. Survivors include his 2 loving sons, Jon and Matthew, his 3 beloved brothers, Anthony Fiorella and his wife Carol, Jon Fiorella and his wife Millie, and twin brother Dean Fiorella and his wife Lori. Gene is also survived by his beloved sister, Barbara Fleming, and 2 sisters in laws, Doreen and Rosemary. He is predeceased by his brothers Daniel and James Fiorella and his sister Helena. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many friends in Pine Bush. Visitation will be held on Sunday October 5, 2008 from 2-6pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, 1525 Burlingham Road, Pine Bush NY. A Funeral mass will be held on Monday October 6, 2008 at the Church of the Infant Savior, Rte 302 Pine Bush NY. Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory immediately following. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Gene’s name to the Pine Bush Lions Club, PO Box 1118, Pine Bush, NY 12566.
