Diana L. Bongiorno Walden, NY On Saturday, April 17, 2021, Diana Bongiorno, loving wife and mother, passed away at age 62. Diana was born on February 16, 1959 in Maspeth, Queens. On June 18, 1985, Diana married Dennis Bongiorno. They raised one daughter, Lauren, and two sons, Arthur and Nicholas. Diana moved to Walden, NY with her family in September 1991. Diana was a long time member of the Pine Bush Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Bongiorno, her daughter and son in law, Lauren and Erik Pine, her son and daughter in law, Arthur and Rachel Bongiorno, her son, Nicholas Bongiorno, her grandchildren, Clayton Pine, Cole Pine and Giada Bongiorno, her sister and brother in law, Cheryl and DJ Decker, and her brother and sister in law, Anthony and Charmaine Schraft. Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Gail Schraft. Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 21, 2021 from 2-5pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush. Mass will be celebrated on Thursday April 22, 2021 at 10 at St. Paul’s Church in Bullville, NY. Cremation will take place at Maple Hill Crematory in Archbald, PA. Due to COVID-19 restrictions capacity is limited. Face mask and social distance requirements mandated by NYS are in effect.
