Obituary of Sophia Gonzalez

Sophia Gonzalez Montgomery, NY Sophia (Krol) Gonzalez, a long life resident of the Hudson Valley, retired mother and grandmother, passed away on May 26th, 2021. She was 72. Born to the late Jan and Bernice Krol, Sophia was born in Germany on February 22, 1949 and came to the United States as a young child. She later married the late Joseph Gonzalez, a retired United States Army Veteran. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Cuomo and partner William Karsten of Pine Bush, her 3 grandchildren, Anthony Cuomo and his partner Jeanne, Ashley Childress and her husband Michael, and Allison Cuomo-Jones and her husband Thomas; her brothers, George Krol and his wife Mary, and Richard Krol and his wife Cindy, and her sister Justine McKibbon, as well as several great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
