Jane and family- I met Roger through SVFD in the early 90s. I’ve met and known many of the family members through the years. Roger was always very kind and helpful to me. He’ll be sorely missed. I was blessed to know him! Jane, Kathy, Barbara & George, Barbara, Adrienne, and all, May God bring you comfort and peace at this time.

I am in total shock. My sincere condolences to all his family!! In late 1971 I met a fella from Upstate NY. As Gary said we all three became best friends, in touch over the years. I believe we not only became best friends but deep in my heart I believe we were Brothers In Arms. I spoke with Roger about a month and a half ago and am so glad I did. He will be surely missed.

Jane I’m soo soo very sorry for the passing of Roger. My heart hurts for you and your family. He was one of the best bosses iv ever had. It was very challenging and scary working in the jail but men like Roger made it a little less scary knowing he was a fair, honest and caring person. Sendin my love hugs and prays to all. God bles

So Sorry to hear of the loss of Roger we served together in the US Army Military Police, 3 of us veterans stayed in touch over the years myself , Roy Clay and Roger . We were like the 3 musketeers we lived together off base when our tour was up Roger and I being both from NY moved all our stuff back together in my Dads truck and trailer he stayed with me awhile helping my Dad during the Apple Harvest then I drove him home to Lyon Mt our paths kept crossing thru Law Enforcement , Fire Service and many E-mails about Politics !! We enjoyed many good times and should have had more I called Roy to tell him about Roger's passing we managed to get over the shock by remembering all the good times and had a few laughs !! I hope his family can do the same with all the memories they have, I tried posting 2 photos 1 of Roger with our Unit sign and the other with him and Roy could not find one of the three of us Roger rest in peace my brother

Speaking for my parents, Dud and Sis Bullis, any loss of a camp member is a loss for all of us. Though I did not really know Roger, I have always known of Roger and he was well-spoken-of.
My sympathies to all who knew and loved Roger.
