So sorry to hear of Helen’s passing. She took care of my children for a few years and they always remember her bullet soup. She was a very special and caring person. My condolences to her family.
As a kid, my mom and siblings and I would say a block rosary at Helen Casamento’s or her neighbor’s, Theresa Frey’s, every Wednesday. She and her family were important friends to my dad and mom, Angelo and Nora Palarino.
One of a kind for sure, with some very good stories! Her 108th birthday parade was GREAT FUN! And I am quite sure she will always be remembered in our church community. May she Rest In Peace. Love to the family...Vicki, David and Family.
