Anne Elizabeth Bumbaco passed away peacefully at Sapphire Nursing and Rehabilitation in Goshen NY from Alzheimer Dementia. She was 82yrs old. Anne was born May 21st 1940 in Coatbridge Scotland to Joseph and Elizabeth Murphy. She worked as a seamstress in Scotland, came to the United States at age 19 through Ellis Island and worked as a Nanny in New Jersey. Anne then worked for Scholastic Book company in Englewood Cliffs, NJ for many years and Stop and Shop in Tenafly, NJ before retirement. She was a avid Girl Scout Leader for Troop 654 Englewood NJ. Anne is survived by her two daughters Charlene Elizabeth Sleyzak and Karen Marie Depalma. Four grandchildren Melissa Elizabeth Arfield, Michael Joseph Sleyzak, Giovanni De Palma, and  Maurizia De Palma along with several nieces and nephews in Scotland. She was predeceased by her sister Catherine Harrigan and brothers, Arthur  Murphy, Robert Murphy and Bill Murphy. The Family would like to thank all the  Staff at Sapphire Nursing and Rehab including Dietary, Housekeeping, Social Services, Activities, MD, NP, Finance, and especially all the Nursing staff for all the wonderful care and compassion she had received by each and every one of you to make her comfortable in these last few years. Visitation will be held  Friday July 22nd from 11am -1pm at William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc, 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush, NY. Services will offered at 1pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Bloomingburg Rural Cemetery.
