 Virginia "Ginger" Schneider, passed away on Friday February 3, 2023, in Jacksonville FL. She was 89. The daughter of the late Robert Wendland and Muriel Fox Wendland, she was born on February 20, 1933 in Bullville, NY.  Virginia was a longtime resident of Wurtsboro NY with her Husband J. Herbert Schneider and lived most of her life in Middletown and Bloomingburg. She was a graduate of Roscoe High School in 1950, and retired from Advest in 1991, where she worked as a Teletype operator. Survivors include  her Husband J. Herbert Schnieder of Wurtsboro, her daughter Brenda Volpe of Jacksonville FL, her brother Robert Wendland of Middletown, and her son-in-law, Al Shattuck of Cheyenne WY. She was predeceased by her parents Muriel and Bob Wendland of Bloomingburg and her daughter, Karen Shattuck of Cheyenne WY. Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 14, 2023 from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc.1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush NY. Funeral services will be offered at 11am on Wednesday February 15, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Bloomingburg Cemetery.
