Alfonse A. Carozza Jr., passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 1st 2023 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center with his family by his side. He was 68.  The son of the late  Alfonse A. Carozza Sr. and Barbara Smith Carozza, he was born on December 10th 1954 in Beacon, New York. Alfonse worked for many years until his retirement at Pine Bush Equipment in Holmes, New York where he made many friends and became a mentor to the younger guys. In his spare time, Alfonse enjoyed camping, working in his yard and spending time walking his beloved dog Rosie. Alfonse is survived by his wife Donna Carozza with whom he loved more than anything. Also surviving is his Sister Barbara DeMarco (Anthony), sister in laws Debbie Carozza (Rob Domoulin), Dawn Freedman (Jim Herring) and brother in law Dale Post (Laurie).  Alfonse is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and great- nephews, and  his beloved dog Rosie who was his constant companion. Alfonse was predeceased by his loving parents Alfonse and Barbara Carozza as well as his sister Linda Carozza and brother Anthony Carozza. On behalf of the family, we would like to thank the nurses and staff of the 7th floor of Vassar Brothers Medical Center, your care and compassion was above and beyond and we are so grateful for the care Alfonse received. Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 7, 2023 from 4-8pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush NY. Memorial service will be offered at 7:30pm with Fr.
