Clarence “ Bucky” Caston, Jr., of Pine Bush, NY 67 years old, went home to be with the Lord on March 3, 2023. The son of the late Clarence Caston and Caroline Brundage Caston, he was born on July 22, 1955 in Cornwall, NY. Bucky was married to Rosa Caputo Caston for 35 years. Besides Rosa, he is also survived by four sisters: Millie Caston Collins, ( Dennis O’Brien); Pearl Caston Buckridge (John Buckridge); Karen Caston Rodriquez ( Persiò Rodriquez); Bethann Buskey (Dennis Buskey). Bucky is survived, as well, by three nephews: John and Josh Buckridge, and Scott Collins; and one niece, Ashley Collins. He was predeceased by his father, Clarence Caston, and his mother, Caroline Brundage Caston. Clarence (“Bucky”) will also be greatly missed by his best friends: Pastor Corey McCaw and his wife Lisa, and Carl Stein with whom he served for years in several ministries. His church family at Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church in Newburgh, loved him and appreciated him for all of his helpfulness, and will miss his presence at church. Bucky was a born-again, Bible-Believing Christian who dedicated his life to the Lord Jesus Christ, along with his wife, Rosa, for 35 years. Throughout his “journey” Bucky never once complained or charged God foolishly, but only had a true burden for his sisters, family members, and friends to come to the Lord and get saved. He was a true husband, brother, friend, and soldier of the Lord to the end! Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 8, 2023 from 6-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush, NY 12566. Funeral services will be offered on Thursday March 9, 2023 at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Corey McCaw officiating. Burial will take place in New Prospect Cemetery.
