I want to express my sincere and heartfelt condolences to John, Paul and Shirley and family, Jeannette and William and family and to Jennifer and her sons on the sudden passing of Frank. Frank was a special person that was very much loved by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him. He was a kind , thoughtful. and caring individual. I always admired how loving and closely knit his entire family was. Frank never met a stranger and he made a positive impression on all. I was so happy for Frank when he met Jennifer his sole mate. I could tell that he was exceptionally happy. Thank you Jennifer. My love and prayers are with all of you as Frank will be sorely missed. Rest In Peace Frank and I will always remember you for the unique and wonderful person that you were.

I’ve known Frank for many many years
He was such a good man
We had many adventures together, mostly with races, triathlons, crazy things like this escarpment trail race
I loved Frank’s spunk for life, and he lived it to the fullest
He was one of my husbands, Bill Norton’s
Best friends
Frank spent many days at our boat house on Masten lake drinking beer drinking Billy‘s boat has margaritas and truly just enjoying friendship
I do believe and it brings comfort to me that Frank and Billy are looking down on all of us, loving us, taking care of us and having a cold beer
Rest in peace, Frank
You truly were an amazing man and so many people will miss your silly grin, your laughter and the kind person that you are
And there’s no greater gift than what you did for the other people that got to live
That alone makes you a hero in my book

I first met Frank at Ulster C.F. Right away I knew he was a great guy. We became friends and shared playing softball and golfing together with a great bunch of other co-workers. Our best times were traveling to and playing golf in Myrtle Beach. The long rides and many stories showed just how much Frank loved and was proud of his family.
You will be missed my Friend, Love You !! God bless !!

I'll always have fond memories
of Frank and Joe Maines playing off of each other, and cracking jokes. Frank always had a smile on his face, and was one of, if not THE best supervisor that I ever worked with. Until we meet again, Frank.....

What does one say about the "Class Clown" of the Pine Bush High School Class of 1977? One says his leaving is a loss that is so profoundly painful for all who love him. One says "Thank You, Frankie, for bringing me the gift of laughter". One says "your joie de vivre was beautifully uplifting". One says you had such a positive impact and influence on all who were in your life personally and professionally. One says your tender heart was so strong with love. One says you are with your beloved Mom and Dad making them laugh. One says that you continue to give joy to others through your beautiful gift of organ donation. One simply says that the love Frankie gave in life will be given to all angels above.

I am proud to call Frank my friend. But also my partner, my mentor and my go to guy in corrections. He touched so many lives by being an organ donor but so many more lives when’s he was alive. . I am going to miss his corny jokes, his quick comebacks and of course our fishing trips. Rest in peace brother, we will take good care of John.

I am extremely saddened by the passing of Mr. Wippel. The world lost an incredible man, father, and inspiration. As I look back through the good times I had with him and his son John, I'm extremely thankful for all the incredible memories that he gave me. Many of the lifelong memories that I have from growing up involve Frank and his son John. For all the times that we went bike riding and hiking all over the Catskills, those memories will never fade. He always made me feel as if I was his 2nd son during my youth. I was always included in everything and he was always an incredible human being. I can vividly remember being at the races with John, waiting in rain and cold weather, just so we could watch his dad come around the curve a couple times. Letting me use one of your bikes to Mountain biking 13+ miles. It was always so exciting, but tiring for me. I'm sure my pstents appreciated that. I am grateful for having the opportunity I had to get to know you and to spend time with you. I love you and all you did for me growing up. I'm sad as time went on, life took us apart. Now, you and my father are reminiscing about old times in heaven together. It's never goodbye.... just see you on the other side. Thank you Frank.

My friend Frank and I grew up as children just 2 houses down from each other, we walked to the bus stop, we built a tree fort together, we ice skated on the lake, he and his brother Paul were childhood friends since we were 13 years old, Frank, Paul and I became correction officers, although we went different ways as life went on, I will never forget where we grew up and how it made us the men we are today, I love you my brother, till our souls meet again in heaven, Bobby Anderson
