Dawn M. Helms, a life long resident of the area, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday March 16, 2023 at her home. She was 58. The daughter of Dolores Wilkins Helms and Eugene Helms Sr., she was born on July 1, 1964 in Middletown, NY. Dawn was a life long resident of Pine Bush where she had many friends and family who she loved and cherished deeply. She will be missed by all. Dawn is survived by her son Travis Helms and his wife Amanda and their child, Blythe Helms of Pennsylvania, three brothers; Eugene Jr. and his wife Gloria, Michael, and Steve, sister, Deborah and her husband Richard and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 22, 2023 from 5-8 pm at William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd. Pine Bush, NY. Cremation will be private.
