My fondest memories of who I knew as Mrs. Ercoline the school nurse was the generosity that was shown to me and my kids at the holidays. She made Christmas a bit better for my kids and took the worry away from me. We received Christmas and thanksgiving food baskets which were always truly appreciated. You could tell that she genuinly cared about the kids. My kids are now in their 30's but still thought she was even cooler when they found out their school nurse was the young girl in the blanket at Woodstock. She rose very high on the cool meter for them. She was an angel on earth for all she did for many of us at PBE and she will never be forgotten for that. To her family we want to extend our deepest condolences for your loss. Sincerely the Seebach/Mann family.

A light went out inside my heart in reading of Bobbie’s passing. Heaven has gained an angel because we lost her here on this ancient globe.
What an amazing human being Bobbie was. Knowing her since high school, we shared many laughs and remembrances from way back while working together at PBE. Her talent was knowing the kindest things to say even in the most serious circumstances. Always an advocate for students and families, the shyest person would feel safe in her care.
Bobbie relayed how she was inspired by our PBHS nurse Mrs. Decker, who encouraged her to pursue nursing. Bobbie was an inspiration for me to continue my post graduate “time off” from teaching to study nursing at OCCC. I will never regret the endless hours, lab time and laughter of group study I found there.
Bobbie was so much more than a “cover girl” of the ages. She was a beautiful example of God’s Grace on Earth every day. My deepest condolences to Nick, her sons, and all the precious grandchildren.

1992 Our family move from Yonkers to Pine Bush. Our oldest of four was the first to start in the brand new school PBE. My husband suffered a back injury and after surgery was unable to return to work. We would never imagine being on your mom’s first list of food baskets and Christmas gifts. God Bless You Bobbi for helping our family in our time of need. For comforting each of our children when they were sick ,upset, or just to have lunch in your office. God has an everlasting ,glorious kingdom he brought you home to. Thank you for sharing her with us.❤️

In 2019, I came from Belgium to attend the 50th anniversary of the Woodstock festival in Bethel Woods. Before the Arlo Guthrie concert, you autographed the triple album "Woodstock: Music from the Original Soundtrack and More". I had been waiting for this moment since the 1970s. Without knowing it, you realized one of my teenage dreams and this moment will remain forever etched in my memory. You leave us an invaluable intangible heritage; that of peace and unconditional love. You will forever remain this eternal symbol!

My cousin Bobbi was such a wonderful, beautiful person….. since I was a little girl she always made me so happy to see her. She was always here for her family no matter what. When my dad ( her Uncle Kenny) was sick with cancer , only in his 60s , SHE was there for me. I remember when things got really bad at the end and she told me she took a leave of absence so she could help more, it was such a weight off my shoulders. I have SO many wonderful memories of her through my entire life. You could always count on her, talk to her about anything. This is such a tragedy that this awful disease took her away from this world and all of us here that loved her so much. I know for sure heaven was SO happy to welcome her there. When you say Bobbi and Nick it always almost seemed like one word…… they were definitely one of the closest, best couples ever. Love you Nick, Mat and Luke and I’m sending you strength to get through this awful pain of loss you are all feeling. -Debby

I have known Barb (Bobbi) and Nick for close to 45 years. Between vacations, quality time at our lake house or dinners at our tables (she made an excellent pot roast dinner) our times together were never long enough. There was always something to share.
My favorite memory is of us sitting on our dock as the sun was setting with a glass of wine. We always celebrated our birthdays together...laughing - we always laughed. She brought light, love and goodness to my life.
She was an amazing woman. Always giving of herself.
May God bless you and comfort you now. We miss you so much. Love you. Be at Peace.

I got to know Bobbi when we both worked at Pine Bush Elementary School. It was impossible not to fall in love with her. Her kind and generous heart was evident well beyond the nurse’s office.
We would run into each other when I was the concession manager of Bethel Woods. While working the 40th anniversary of Woodstock I heard someone shout “Hey Momma”, it was Bobbi. As we were chatting, I noticed a teenage boy sitting nearby that kept looking up at us. Finally he stood up and said “ Excuse me, are you the couple on the cover?”. It was in that moment I realized their iconic status. A kid whose parents probably weren’t even born 1969, knew who she was. WOW! They were the real rock stars that night.
Rest in peace Bobbi.

Hello. May I add my anonymous condolences, & yet connected nonetheless.
Though I never knew the couple, they were iconic to me throughout my time. Two loving people sharing an embrace in a mob of like minded folks. They represented the motto “Peace, Love & Happiness” sums up what many of us had hoped would be the result. It would take a few years & some practice. We still have a way to go, but folks like Barbara & her charitable deeds bring us closer.
But I’m also intrigued by how close “we” came to knowing one-another. We’d drive across the Newburgh Bridge on the way to visit her parents in Pennna. If we had been high school friends or some such, we could have popped up to visit. A missed opportunity..
One of my closest confidant & one I shared chairing duties for P. T. A. during my kids time in school, the woman was also the school nurse first at the primary & later high school level.
I am truly sorry for your loss but also our generation & all that Nick & Barbara & that photo represented to us. I feel the loss keenly. We are really “one” race of people. .

I will always remember the friendship and kindness shown to me, as a new student in the 9th grade ar Pine bush, by all the students and especially Bobbi.
We reconnected at a yardsale she had in her yard and she donated the leftover goods to my school Thrift Store (Goshen Christian).
My best memories are the many get togethers we had planning our 50th class reunion (Class of ‘67} in 2017. She held many of the meetings in her home. After that we had several wonderful dinners together with other friends at Destefano’s Olde Erie.
Her love of family was always very evident in the posts she made of her grandchildren and sons and husband. She loved people in general and the world is diminished by her passing.

Bobbi was my classmate at PBHS. She was the prettiest girl in my class but never used her good looks to act like she was better than anyone else. She was kind, funny and sweet. While Facebook has its flaws it allowed me to reconnect with Bobbi and through her to her wonderful husband, Nick. We enjoyed sharing pictures of our respective travels. In September of 2017 the class of 1967 celebrated its 50th high school reunion and Bobbi, along with others, made it a truly beautiful experience. RIP my friend. You may be gone in body but your spirit remains..

Dear Bobbi, Some know you as the Woman on the album cover. Some know you as a wife who deeply loved her husband, a mother who loved and supported her boys and a grandmother who adored her grandchildren. Some know you as the Little League Mom, School Nurse or advocate. Some know you as a friend. Thousands know you as the person who protected them, fed them, clothed them, advocated for them and cared for them. Memories go back as far as high school. Memories of the person who had emotional strife but never showed it. Memories of the friend who was always there when needed. Memories of the Mom who watched over her children and guided them all the way. Memories of a wife who loved her husband with her very being. Memories of the woman who went out of her way to help those in need, in more ways then most people know. Memories of the woman who always smiled and made everyone around her smile. Memories are all that are left. Memories and the unending love of the thousands of lives you touched. You will be with us all, until we meet again. Judy and Doug Pulver
