Hearing of Ralph’s passing was a shock. Over nearly 20 years of his outstanding service, our conversations almost always turned to hunting and showing each other our season’s take, or if it was a loss, a big laugh.
I will always recall him telling me when I tried to fix my plumbing “… whatever you do, don’t touch it!” … of course in a more colorful way!
Ralph will be missed and his laughter and love of life never forgotten.
Thank you Ralph for the privilege of knowing you ….

Very sad news. Ralph and I had many interesting conversations while he was expertly handling the plumbing issues at Oleo Acres. I will miss those chats. I hope he runs into Paul and Delia Capsis on his new journey. They were both big fans of Ralph. My deepest condolences to Wendy and the kids.

It saddens me greatly to hear of Ralph’s passing, and my heart goes out to his family and his brother and sisters. What wonderful friends and neighbors all the Apelles family are now, and how we cared greatly for them all then when we were all children. Ralph will be dearly missed. We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Ralph and extend our heartfelt condolences to the Apelles family. Ralph was an exceptional professional who took great pride in his work and developed a strong bond with his clients. He demonstrated unwavering reliability and dedication to his craft, always making time for his clients even during emergencies. One instance that stands out was when he came over late the night before Thanksgiving to repair a leaking pipe because he knew we had a houseful of people coming the next day.
Ralph's legacy is a testament to his exceptional character and work ethic. We are heartened to hear that Greg is poised to carry on his father's legacy and continue providing top-notch plumbing and heating services to the community.
Please know that the Apelles family is in our thoughts during this difficult time.

Ralph was one of kindest people I have known. He never had a harsh word for anyone and was always willing to help when you needed it. I met Ralph when we were very young and remained friends all these years. Growing up, I spent my summers in the house neighboring his. We spent alot of time together. As a teenager he taught me how to drive a car. At first i wasnt too good, but he was very patient with me.
When I finally moved to area, I didn't have a job, and he gave me one. That was just the kind of person he was. He taught me plumbing skills that I use to this day.
I will miss his powerful voice and kind heart. My family and I offer our deep condolences.

Ralph was my neighbor for most of his life. I watched him grow up with my three sons. He happily married Wendy. Then Greg and Katrina were a big part of his life. His business grew as did his cildren who gave him two granddaughters. I am happy that he had a good life. However, it ended too soon and he will be truly missed by all. I feel that I have lost one of my own. My condolences to his loving family.

We are so sorry for your loss. Ralph was a student of mine many years ago and a neighbor of Ed’s family. He became our dedicated plumber back in 1985 when he was first getting started. Always a stop on the road in his truck to chat. Always a prompt response to any plumbing problem we had. A great guy and we are truly going to miss his friendship and humor. We are confident that Greg will carry on his legacy. Ralph will be missed. May happy memories bring you all comfort.

Rest in peace, Ralph. I didn’t know you personally but I had the pleasure of teaching both of your children in high school at Pine Bush. From knowing them-I can tell what a smart, kind, loving and loyal father you were. They are both two of the nicest students I’ve had in 33 years of teaching. Your loss is unimaginably hard for your wife and children and they will be in my prayers in the days to come. Everyone will miss you terribly.

Over the years I had the occasion to call on Ralph usually in a panic
He could usually solve the problem over the phone if not he would come out and it would always be fixed
Our conversations would always lead to snowmobile stories or ATV Stories
A well rounded great all round person that would give you the shirt off his back
Was looking forward to spending some real quality time with him
He will be enormously missed on so many levels
