Miguel Angel Higuera Jr., of Pine Bush, NY, passed away on Saturday May 27, 2023. He was 60. Miguel was born in Manhattan to Angelica Higuera and Miguel Higuera Sr. on January 10th, 1963. He went to Newtown High School and graduated in 1981. He served in the Navy for four years (1982-1986) where he was then discharged. While serving, he was asked to back in a trailer. Mike said yes knowing he had no idea how. Got behind the wheel and successfully parked the truck and trailer. That is where his passion for trucking began. After being discharged, he pursued trucking. Miguel owned and operated Bulk Express Incorporation since 2014. He cherished his two daughters, Desiree and Hailee, along with his two German Shepherds, Broom Hilda and Pablo Escabar. He enjoyed spending his time playing poker and black jack, gathering with family, riding his motorcycles with friends, and boat days on the lake with his girls. Miguel had a heart of gold and his radiant personality always left an impression on everyone he met. His memory will live on forever.

Survivors include his two daughters, Desiree Higuera and Hailee Higuera, their mother Deborah Goebel, two sisters Lilia Higuera-Beneat, husband John Beneat and Gladys Higuera-Dolan, husband Timothy Dolan, along with abundance of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews who idolized him and many beloved friends. He is preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Angelica Higuera and Miguel Higuera Sr. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 3rd 2023 from 2pm-5pm at the William M.
