Mary E. Roberts Cromwell, a lifelong resident of the area passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 31, 2023 in her home. She was 60. The daughter of the late Ruth L. Porter and Robert Roberts, she was born on December 5th, 1962 in Middletown, NY. Mary attended Middletown High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and was a wonderful and strong woman who was adored by many. She was also involved in the Tri-State Car Club Inc. for over 10 years. Mary is survived by her husband Robert Cromwell of Bloomingburg, NY, her 3 daughters, Elizabeth Wesner and her husband Joseph of Bloomingburg, NY , Stacey Wesner and her husband Tony of Wallkill, NY, Billiejean Steinman of Bloomingburg, NY, her brother Ronald Roberts and his wife Laurie of Cuddebackville, NY, her 2 sisters Evelyn Skinner of Apache Junction, AZ , and Margaret Roberts and her husband Ed King of Port Jervis, NY, her grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart; Rayne, Abbygayle, Jonathan, Addisyn, and Alex, her nieces, Clarissa, Jessica, Judy, Sylvia, and several more, her nephews, Jason, Ron, Alan, Edward, and several more. Mary is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Ruth Roberts, her mother-in-law Hazel Cromwell and, her brother in law Charles Skinner. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
