In Loving Memory of Lisa Lesczynski
Lisa Lesczynski, a devoted wife, mother, and cherished grandmother, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on January 8, 2024. She is survived by her beloved family, in which she leaves behind a legacy of love, including her adoring husband of 41 years Jerry Lesczynski, daughters and their families: Melanie, Jon, and August Reynolds, and Megan, Matthew, and Luke Ryan, Lisa's sister Joan Howe, her husband Mike, and their children, Lisa's brother Richard Mallory, his wife Lexi, and their children. Together, they share the sorrow of her passing and the enduring memories of a life well-lived.
Lisa dedicated much of her life to education, shaping countless minds as a compassionate teacher. Her impact reached far beyond the classroom, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of those she touched. Lisa's true joy came from her role as a mother and “Nana”, where she served as the loving glue that bound her family together.
Beyond her family and career, she enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. Lisa cherished the company of her dogs. Summers were her delight as she created lasting memories basking in the warmth of the pool, on the beaches in the Outer Banks, and in the enchanting landscapes of Maui.
Known for her warm heart and unwavering support, Lisa was a beacon of strength for her friends too. Her ability to listen attentively and offer the best advice earned her a special place in the hearts of many. Lisa's positive attitude and sense of humor brightened the darkest days and created cherished memories for those fortunate enough to share in her company.
Her family wants to thank all the people that supported them and her during her last days, through their actions, messages and prayers.
As we mourn the loss of this extraordinary woman, let us celebrate the beautiful life Lisa lived and the profound impact she had on everyone fortunate enough to know her. May her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to us all.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday January 27, 2024 from 10am-12pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush NY. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Lisa's name.
