Frank J. Friedrich Sr. Frank J. Friedrich Sr., of Pine Bush, passed away on March 15, 2005 at home in Pine Bush. He was 87 years old. The son of the late Piar Schuster and Frank Friedrich, he was born in Newark, N.J. on March 30, 1917. Frank was predeceased by his loving wife Ruth Friedrich of 65 years on October 26, 2004. A Bronze Star Veteran of WW II, serving in Germany, he ranked as Sergeant in the US Army. Frank was the past owner and operator of Esso Service Station in Roscoe, N.Y. He retired as a truck driver for H.L.F. McBride Transportation in Goshen, N.Y. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 445 Retirees Association. Frank was an avid horseback rider and also loved hunting with his son. He was very dedicated to his family. Survivors include his son Frank Friedrich and wife Donna of Bloomingburg; his daughter, Marion Ray and husband Henry of Frenchtown, N.J.; six granddaughters, Joan Friedrich of Mahwah, N.J., Pia Rey of New Jersey, Cheri Dillion of Texas, Heidi Diminick of New Jersey, Arlene Scheetz of New Jersey, Leslie Templin of Alabama; one brother, Joseph Moore of St. Petersburg. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 18 at 11 a.m. in the Bloomingburg Cemetery.
