Natalie M. Saft

Natalie M. Saft, longtime resident of the area, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 18, 2024. She was 95. The daughter of the late Angelo Riccardi and Filomina Vena Riccardi, she was born on December 25, 1928 in Old Forge, Pennsylvania. Natalie was a retired employee of the Pine Bush Central School District, in which she held the following positions: Secretary of Special Programs, Para-Professional, Substitute Teacher, Library Assistant, Greeter, and Attendance Officer. She was best known for her holiday decorations and bulletin boards throughout the school year. Natalie also served as Vice President of the Tri-County Association of Educational Secretaries. She was a member and past secretary of the G. Paul Bettinger American Legion Auxiliary Post 1308 and was past secretary of the Pine Bush Senior Citizens. Natalie is survived by her five children and spouses: Jean Feller (Walter), Stephen Saft (Michele), Nancy Wright (Adolph), John Saft (Loretta), Phyllis Sendelback (Joseph), all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended families. Natalie was predeceased by husband - Richard Saft; Parents - Angelo Riccardi and Filomina Vena Riccardi; infant daughter Robin; and her ten brothers and sisters. Special thank you to April and her family for all their love and the excellent care they gave to grandma.
